Biography

A progressive rock jam band from Burlington, Vermont, RAQ first came together in 2001. Original members Jay Burwick (bass), Chris Michetti (guitars), Marc Scortino (keyboards), and Greg Stukey (drums) released their first album, Shed Tech in 2001. Scortino left the band shortly thereafter, and was replaced with Todd Stoops. The regrouped RAQ released their follow up, Carbohydrates, in 2002. The band has, over the years, played a number of nationally renowned festivals, including Bonnaroo, the High Sierra Festival, and moe.down. In 2006, the band hunkered down at Trey Anastasio's Barn Studio in Vermont to record their third album, Ton Three.
