Biography

Robert McCreedy had put years into the Volebeats, a band in which he was not only a principal member, but their lead songwriter. After the release of their Mosquito Spiral album, McCreedy left the group and traveled around the country writing new material that reflected his experiences. Gathering together allies like singer/songwriter Laura Cantrell and Whiskeytown's Mike Daly, he recorded his first solo album for Safe House Records. The album, Streamline, came out in the summer of 2002 and was followed by a casual US tour.
