Biography

Severed Heads are an Australian group who mainly use electronics in their music, including tape effects, sequencers, drum programs, and found sounds from turntables, televisions, and so on, plus a little singing and guitar playing. Their listenability range can move from electro-pop to irritating, jumbled sound collages. Their original lineup contained Garry Bradbury, Paul Von Deering, and Tom Ellard; Ellard has been the only one to remain throughout the group's career, later working mainly with Stephen Jones.
