Biography

Canadian indie rock quartet Shapes and Sizes spin noise, odd time signatures, and quirky instrumentation into an infectious elixir of pop mayhem reminiscent of Deerhoof, Impossible Shapes, and Frog Eyes. Formed in Victoria, British Columbia, the group consists of Caila Thompson-Hannant, Rory Seydel, Jon Crellin, and Nathan Gage. Their eponymous debut was released in 2006 on the Asthmatic Kitty label. They followed it up with 2007's Split Lips, Winning Hips, a Shiner.
