Biography

Airy indie rock group Summerbirds in the Cellar are a project of Now It's Overhead members Brad Register (vocals, guitar) and Curtis Brown (guitar, keyboard). Tyson Bodiford was added on drums/bass programming and Mike Yardley on electronic percussion. The band's debut, With the Hands of the Hunter It All Becomes Dead, was released on Slow January in 2005. The following year the group went on tour with Now It's Overhead, with Register and Brown playing in both bands. The next record was slated for release sometime in 2007. Summerbirds have made live appearances with the Bravery, Rilo Kiley, Elf Power, and the Kills.
