Biography

Thomas Sanders is the mysterious music-maker behind the twisty art rock sounds of Tap Tap. The Reading, England-based revolving cast of musicians also includes Paul Jones, Jonny Ronette, Peter Hefferan, and Pete Dog, all of whom played on Tap Tap's debut album, Lanzafame. The blogger elite drew comparisons to Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the Arcade Fire, and Wolf Parade upon its release in summer 2006, yet Tap Tap seemed unfazed. Sanders continued playing with Pete and the Pirates, a constant fixture among the London indie rock scene cultivated by Stolen Recordings.
