Biography

The Original Harmony Ridge Creekdippers is a trio consisting of former Jayhawks leader Mark Olson, his wife, singer/songwriter Victoria Williams, and multi-instrumentalist Mike "Razz" Russell. Olson founded the group after leaving the Jayhawks in 1995, and released a series of albums, at first on his own Creekdippers Records label, though they were later picked up for distribution by other labels: The Original Harmony Ridge Creek Dippers (1997), Pacific Coast Rambler (1998), and Zola & the Tulip Tree (1999). By the time of the release of the band's fourth album, My Own Jo Ellen, they were being billed as Mark Olson & the Original Harmony Ridge Creekdippers.
