Biography

PL6 is the tongue-in-cheek, legends-in-their-own-minds supergroup led by Austrian DJs/producers Patrick Pulsinger and Erdam Tunakan. Joined variously from track to track by fellow Viennese electro-jazz obscurantists Gerhard Potuznik, F. Sokol, and Def Con, among others, the group have released an album and a handful of compilation tracks through such labels as Sabotage and Morbid, including the full-length two-LP/CD They Came Down. Like more recent Pulsinger incarnations such as Sluts'N'Strings & 909 and Showroom Recordings, PL6 move freely between funky downtempo jazz-hop and exploratory, heavily syncopated electro.
