Biography

Viva Death is the punk rock supergroup comprised of Trever Keith (Face to Face), Scott Shiflett (Face to Face), Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters), Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle), and Chad Blinman. The five-piece came together in mid-2001 when Trever Keith and Scott Shiflett initially started out recording for fun. What came of those sessions was the aggressive, guitar-driven debut Viva Death, which was released on Vagrant in September 2002. Their long-awaited follow-up, One Percent Panic, arrived in October 2006 on Functional Equivalent Recordings.
