Biography

The gently named Watch Them Die was assembled in Oakland, CA, in 2000. With resumés that included bands like Buzzov-en, Grimple, World Salad, and Ojorojo, and proficiencies in punk, thrash, grind, and the heaviest of heavy metal, Watch Them Die's membership was intent on sonic destruction almost from note one. Vocalist Pat Vigil, guitarists Jase and Greg Valencia, drummer Ira, and bassist Pat Mello signed with Century Media in 2002, and toured nationwide with tough guys like High on Fire and Impaled. Century issued WTD's punishing self-titled debut in October 2003.
