All Music Guide:
Adam Richman grew up in Allentown, PA. Prior to reaching his teenage years, he became familiar with the guitar and piano and was already recording himself with the aid of his computer. He continued to develop his skills to the point where he dropped out of college in order to pursue music full-time. Before long, he was touring the States, playing campuses, and building a following. Though he officially debuted with 2001's Two, an acoustic album, 2004's The Patience EP and the following year's Patience and Science (recorded in his parents' basement, entirely on his own) were his first widely distributed releases. Both of these discs came out on Or Music, an independent label based in New York.
