Anna Puu is a Finnish pop singer who rose to fame on the television reality show Idols in 2008 before embarking on a chart-topping solo recording career the following year. Born Anna Puustjärvi on February 3, 1982, in Outokumpu, Finland, she appeared on the 2008 season of Idols, a Pop Idol-style show specific to Finland, and finished in second place behind first-place winner Koop Arponen. Shortening her name from Anna Puustjärvi to Anna Puu, she made her commercial debut in 2009 with the Top Five hit single "C'est la Vie." The eponymous album Anna Puu (2009) followed shortly thereafter. Featuring the follow-up single "Kaunis Päivä," Anna Puu opened atop the Finnish albums chart.

Anna Puu (born Anna Emilia Puustjärvi; February 3, 1982 in Outokumpu, Finland) placed second in Finland's Idols 2008 competition. Her first album, Anna Puu, was released April 29, 2009, with the first single, "C'est la vie" released in mid-April. The album has since sold over 60,000 copies. She released a second album, Sahara. Her third album is expected to be released in 2012.
