Backseat Goodbye (born July 14, 1986) is the stage and recording name of pop-folk singer-songwriter Chad Sugg.
Career
Chad started the solo-project his freshman year at Middle Tennessee State University in August 2004. Born in Clarksville, Sugg currently resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
His music has been described as "brilliant upbeat acoustic folk you can sing along, and listen to all day." and ""Feel good pop music that's deeper than what you're used to..."
As of 2009, Sugg has self-released 4 EPs, all of which he recorded and produced himself at his home studio. All of them, except "The Wonder" are actually full-length, but are called EP because they are only a collection of songs without any concept. His first full length album "Dressed Up Like Dreams" was released through a distribution deal with The Militia Group. He has also self-released a limited pressing of a holiday EP and a holiday album.
