All Music Guide:

Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Bitch, one half of the funky alternative folk-rock duo Bitch & Animal, uses her politically charged lyrics, theatrical stage antics, and unpredictable instrumentation to pull a reaction out of even the most demure audience. After releasing three critically and commercially successful albums on Ani DiFranco's Righteous Babe label, Bitch went solo in 2006 with Make This/Break This on the Kill Rock Stars label.
