A side project for Vic Chestnutt and members of Widespread Panic, Brute released an album for Capricorn in 1995. Nine High a Pallet includes Panic members Dave Schools (bass), Michael Houser (guitar), John Hermann (keyboards), Todd Nance (percussion) and John Bell (dobro, vocals). A second collaboration entitled Co-Balt followed in 2002.
