All Music Guide:

Self-proclaimed "bugs in the system," the duo of Andrew Jervis and Dave "Skyjuice" Biegel came together in 1996 after Jervis spent time as a DJ, while Biegel played bass in hip-hop, reggae and jazz groups. The music they've made together as Bugs is similarly eclectic, cross-cutting jazz-funk, drum'n'bass, and rare-groove with the overall vibes of acid jazz . Signed to Ubiquity Records, Bugs opened with the 1997 EP Both Feet in It, then issued their full-length debut, Infinite Syndrome. Biegel also keeps busy with two side-projects, his production concern Skyjuice and a breakbeat pop group Puracane -- both of which also record for Ubiquity.
