Chelonis R. Jones is an electropop Musician Painter, Poet, Singer, Songwriter and Producer. Born and raised in California & New York but currently living in Europe. While he has released albums (Dislocated Genius 2005, The Forgotten Floor 2008 and Chatterton 2009), the earliest single releases (2002–2006) came complete with original cover artwork edited from original oil canvases painted in the late 1990s by the artist. With over 80 singles (mostly on Get Physical and Systematic Records), he is perhaps more widely known as the vocalist and co-writer of the popular Röyksopp single 49 Percent, appearing on the album The Understanding. 2011 was the official gallery debut of "American Anarchist", followed by "The Dream" (Gallery Sassen), which displayed his paintings covering the first 15 years, in Bonn, Germany to controversial, yet, rave reviews such as Monopol magazine and many others.
