Debi Makhsoospuri (Punjabi : ਦੇਬੀ ਮੱਖਸੂਸਪੂਰੀ ) (born Gurdev Singh Gill on 10 June 1966) is a Punjabi singer, songwriter and poet.


Makhsoospuri was born on 10 June 1966 in Makhsoospur, a village in the Hoshiarpur district of Punjab. He currently resides in Canada with his family, including his three daughters.


Makhsoospuri got his first break at the age of 20 as a lyricist when he wrote for the singer Kuldeep Manak. Many of the songs he wrote for Manmohan Waris and Kamal Heer earned him popular acclaim. He became a professional singer himself with his debut album Jad Maa Nayi Rehndi in 1994. He performs live shows under the name "Debi live" all over the world.
