All Music Guide:

Danish punk group Iceage formed in 2008 when the bandmembers averaged 17 years in age. Influenced by early hardcore and no wave, and with a sloppy, anarchic style of playing not too far removed from West Coast indie/punk bands like No Age and Abe Vigoda, the band’s short and raw debut, New Brigade, was released in 2011 on What’s Your Rupture in the U.S. and on Tambourhinoceros in Europe. 2013 saw the equally fervent follow-up album You're Nothing surfacing.

Who Are…Holograms

By Evan Minsker, eMusic Contributor

It's been a tough few months for Stockholm 20-somethings Holograms. During a support tour for the Soft Moon, their car got broken into, they lost all their money and were stranded in France for more than a week. Currently, they're unemployed, broke and nervous that they won't be able to obtain work visas to tour the United States this fall. They also need new gear. But it's not all bad. Their self-titled debut album on Captured… more »
