All Music Guide:

Pairing shoegazer swirl with heavy indie rock fuzz, Infinite Body quickly became a darling of the underground press and festival crowds for its unearthly sounds. Kyle Parker first came to musical attention as part of the mid-2000s experimental troupe Gator Surprise. As a solo act, he adopted the fitting alter ego Infinite Body and quietly dropped his self-distributed debut, White Hymn. He released a series of cassettes and LPs before his 2010 breakthrough, Carve Out the Face of My God, earned a lofty 8.2 rating from the tastemakers of Pitchfork Media. Parker also created a stir at that year's South by Southwest festival in Austin, TX.
