An appealing guitarist who specializes in Brazilian and Latin jazz, Jeff Linsky was primarily self-taught, although he studied briefly with Spanish guitarist Vicente Gomez and Joe Pass. He lived in Hawaii during 1972-1988 before moving to the San Francisco Bay area. Linsky has thus far recorded easily enjoyable albums for Kamei (1991-1992), GSP, Concord, and Concord Vista.
