Jessy Greene is a violinist, cellist and vocalist from Sheffield, Massachusetts. She was a former member of Geraldine Fibbers and The Jayhawks.

Career

Jessy has played with a number of artists including Wilco, Atmosphere, Joseph Arthur, Soul Asylum and Dessa of Doomtree. She has toured with several artists, including Foo Fighters for 18 months in 2007 and 2008. She has also appeared with Pink as part of a 10-piece string section on American Music Awards in 2008, and as the only string player on Pink's Funhouse Tour in 2009. She played at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival as part of Exene's band the California Mothership in 2010.

She is featured on Foo Fighters' "I Should Have Known" on the album Wasting Light, which also features Krist Novoselic of Nirvana on bass and accordion.

She has also recorded with Ben Harper, Joseph Arthur and Dhani Harrison in their band Fistful of Mercy.

Her song "Time Bomb" was featured at the end of the Burn Notice season 2 finale called "Lesser Evil".
