Wikipedia:

Linfinity is an American rock band from New York. They are on the independent music label American Myth Recordings.

Linfinity has been described as having an "Old World" quality by Rolling Stone magazine and WNYC Soundcheck's John Shaefer. WNYC Soundcheck host John_Schaefer described Linfinity's lead singer Dylan Von Wagner voice as "a strange blend of David Byrne and Antony Hegarty." Rolling Stone magazine described his voice as "Eddie Vedder and Tiny Tim harmonizing."

Linfinity's first full album, Martian's Bloom, has been received with critical praise, including the track "Holy Rain" being featured on NPR's All Songs Considered 2010 Spring Music Preview.

The song "MSG (song)" is featured in MTV's Pepsi refresh campaign. The song "Seesaw Love" was featured in the Michael Cera Vanity Fair video. "Molly Mar of Rome" was also featured in Lindsay Lohan's Vanity Fair video.

The name Linfinity derives from a story told to Dylan by a World War One veteran. According to the veteran, Linfinity was a mantra word told by a general to his soldiers to say over and over to relieve shell shock.
