Marco Barrientos (Ciudad de México 1963) is a Mexican Contemporary Christian Music singer. Also known as Marco Barrientos Band composed by Marco Barrientos (Vocals), Julián Collazos (Keys), Keith Banks (Drums), Daniel Bustamante (Bass) and Justin Loose (Guitars). Is best known for songs like "Será Llena La Tierra" (The Earth Will Be Filled), "Levántate Y Resplandece" (Rise And Shine) and "El Señor Está En Este Lugar" (The Lord Is In This Place). Also was nominated to the Latin Grammy Awards, for his Live Album Transformados, that was one of the most important christian albums in 2011, with songs like 'Nuestro Dios' (Our God), 'Eres Rey De Los Cielos' (You're King Of Heavens), and 'Cantamos Aleluya' (We're Singing Hallelujah).

Biography

Born in Mexico, Marco graduated from the Bible Institute Christ for the Nations in 1985. He is known as a worship leader and international speaker. In recent years, he has emphasized the prophetic song that flows through him, which can be heard powerfully in his recordings. Since then, he has been in full-time ministry, beginning as associate pastor of "Amistad Cristiana" in Mexico City. He remained there for 13 years until he felt called to found the ministry "Amistad Cristiana Internacional" and the music label "Aliento Producciones", of which he is president.

Marco has 30 recordings of praise and worship, and is the author of "El plan de Dios para ti" (God's plan for you) and "Muéstrame Tu Gloria" (Show Me Your Glory), which have been recently published. He travels extensively, carrying the conference "Aliento del Cielo" throughout the world and more recently to ELAM, "Escuela de Líderes y Artes del Ministerio" (School of Leadership and art Ministry). The school is considered a facilitator for people to have meaningful encounters in the presence of God. His ministry is primarily about teaching people the principles and dynamics of the Kingdom of God, helping them to apply it in a practical way in their daily lives.

His desire is to see every person firmly established in the Kingdom, educated in the Word of God, loving the Lord with all their heart, and fulfilling God's purpose for their lives. For this reason, on September 26, 2004, he and his wife began the church "Centro Internacional Aliento".

Marco is a graduate of practical theology and has developed a strategic alliance with CFNI, where he is a Bible teacher. He and his wife, Carla, have been married for fifteen years and currently reside in Dallas, Texas, along with their two children, Daniela and Marco.

He is also the director and host of "Avivanos", (Revive us) an annual worship conference part of Amistad Cristiana Internacional, Inc.

Marco Barrientos, has been one of the important latin singers, and is recognized by leading songs, sung throughout Latin America, and in many churches in all the continent. Through its 25-year career, has been friend of Marcos Witt, and has released over 35 albums, most live. Most of his leading songs, were recorded in his album 'Levántate Y Resplandece Edición Especial XX Años', that is a live compilation of their greatest songs in his 20-year career. Songs like El Ejército De Dios(The Army Of God), Los Muros Caen (The Walls Fall Down), Será Llena La Tierra (Will Be Filled The Earth), El Señor Está En Este Lugar (The Lord Is In This Place).
