Named in honor of a wooded area on the outskirts of their native Philadelphia, alternative rockers Martin's Dam comprised singer/guitarist Scott Bricklin, his guitarist brother Brian, bassist Mark Gorman and drummer Gary Gold. Their debut LP Hybrid appeared in 1998.
