All Music Guide:

The girl group Me First evolved into a four-person group comprised of two males and two females. Their original sound didn't get lost with the turnover of half the members thanks to the ever-present contributions of drummer Helen Williamson and lead singer Denise Campanaro. Williamson also contributes backup vocals while Campanaro writes songs and plays guitar. Lead guitarist Jon Moldover and bassist/vocalist Chris Lenart round out the group. Since forming in 1995 in San Francisco, Me First have criss-crossed the U.S. several times in support of their recordings. Me First's releases include Awful Friendly, the band's first full-length album issued in 1997 by Broken Rekids, and Sorry Hangover, issued in 2000 by Sympathy for the Record Industry.
