Former Atlanta radio DJ Moochie Mack scored a large regional hit in 2000 with "Dirty South Is in da House," which led to an opportunity to record a full-length, 2001's Broke Pimpin'. Powered by the aforementioned Southern anthem and the singles "Ghetto Bounce" and "We Be on Dat," the album featured production by Street Flava, Lil Jon, DJ Herb, and Salam Wreck.
