England's Mourn was a prototypical Rise Above act, responsible for leaden, Sabbath-inspired doom metal epics. Featuring singer Caroline Wilson, guitarists Ali Reza Hakimi Ghazvini and William Palmer, bassist Steve Draysey, and drummer Mark Cronin, the group only recorded a single, self-titled album in 1995 before going their separate ways.
