Biography

Although Mathieu Ranson attended an art college in Birmingham, England, it was his particular brand of electronica, initially created just for his own purposes, that brought him to the attention of Highpoint Lowlife. Soon he had issued The Isle of Wight EP under the moniker Fisk Industries in 2003, followed by the 10" "77 and Rising" in 2006. Highpoint Lowlife (for which Ranson also did sleeve design) teamed up with American label Mush Records for the spring 2007 U.S. release of the two-disc EPs and Rarities, which included much of Ranson's previous work.
