Biography

Roughly translating to "Kids These Days," Jeugd van Tegenwoordig was a ‘not quite to be taken seriously' type of hip-hop outfit consisting of members Vieze Fur (who went by a number of monikers, including Vieze Freddie or Baksteen, and whose real name was Freddie Tratlehner), P. Faberge (also known as P. Drong and Peppie, and whose real name was Pepijn Lanen), and Willie Wartaal (real name: Ollicio Locadia). Best known for a number of chart success novelty hip-hop singles, De Jeugd released their first album in 2005, entitled Parels Voor de Zwijnen, which translates to Pearls Before Swine.
