SEER

Biography

An alternative rock band from Long Island, NY, Seer released its debut album, 2020, in 2006. Inspired by leading contemporary alternative rock bands such as Radiohead and Coldplay, as well as more divergent bands such as Tool and Pink Floyd, Seer was formed in 2003 by childhood friends Eric Zirlinger (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Wayne Silver (lead guitar), and Michael Denton (drums), along with Paul Komsic (bass). The band made its recording debut in 2004 with a self-titled four-track EP. This initial release helped garner a local buzz for the band, which prided itself on opening shows for touring national concert acts. In 2006 Seer released its debut full-length album, 2020, and played a series of East Coast shows in support of the album.
