Biography

Comprised of Joe Kremer, Matt Marlin, and Kurt Beals and packing an intense, complex sound that drew from bands like Polvo and Modest Mouse, Pterodactyl started formulating its brand of shrieking, stomping indie rock in the early 2000s. The band formed in Ohio and relocated to Brooklyn, where they attracted the attention of Brah Records. The band's self-titled debut (unofficially known as "Bluejay") came out in 2007.
