All Music Guide:
English vocalist Peter Grant may not have the life experience of Tony Bennett or Frank Sinatra, but the young crooner from the North has a voice that defies ageism. Grant took to the stage at 13 and completed his first tour of the country at 14, eventually landing himself a record deal while most of his friends were applying to colleges. His smooth-as-a-single-malt-scotch debut, New Vintage, arrived in 2006. Traditional followed a year later.
