All Music Guide:

The odd foursome of the Scottish folk duo Rory and Alex McEwen, and the American husband-wife team (though only married briefly) of Carolyn Hester and Richard Fariña, combined forces for a one-off recording project in 1963. The resulting four-song EP, Four for Fun, was issued only in Scotland, and carried the awkward billing Rory and Alex McEwen, Carolyne and Dick Fariña (though Carolyn Hester always billed herself as Carolyn Hester, never "Carolyn Fariña," and her first name is misspelled Carolyne on the sleeve). The disc is extremely rare, but musically unexciting, consisting of average interpretations of traditional folk songs, sometimes with a pronounced British Isles bent. Although Hester takes lead vocals with some frequency, Richard Fariña's contribution, vocal and otherwise, seems slight.
