Also known as Torture, Sensational was a member of the Jungle Brothers on their album 1993 J. Beez Wit Da Remedy. He released his self-produced solo debut, Loaded With Power, in 1997. The follow-up, Corner the Market, appeared the next year and Heavyweighter was issued in fall 2000; Get on My Page followed a year later.

Sensational is a hip-hop performer from New York. He worked with the Jungle Brothers under the name Torture before going solo. He was featured on the cover of The Wire magazine in December 2009. A film about him entitled The Rise and Fall and Rise of Sensational was released in 2011. he plays in Anarchist Republic of Bzzz along with Arto Lindsay, Seb el Zin, Marc Ribot and Mike Ladd.
