Freshco Da Flowa (born Shawn Conrad) is one half of the late 1980s/early 1990s rap group, Freshco & Miz. Freshco was signed to Tommy Boy Records in 1989 and was label mates with Queen Latifah, De La Soul and Digital Underground. His claim to fame in Hip Hop was winning the New Music Seminar's 1989 World Championship rap contest. MC Freshco followed his competition win with the underground hits "We Don't Play", "Ain't U Freshco" and "Now Ya Know". Freshco has rapped with Jay-Z on Original Flavor's 1993 release, "Many Styles". He also rapped with The Notorious B.I.G. on a DJ Enuff release, and is recognized as one of rap music's most gifted lyricists.

Freshco is also an all-round sportsman. He was the 2001 city-wide Handball champion of New York with partner Ray Lopez. He is also a top level Racquetball player and Tennis player. Most of his professional life after his rap career has been spent as a post-production audio engineer for film and television. He has worked on projects such as The Matrix, Yu-Gi-Oh, South Park, HBO and many other productions. Freshco's post audio responsibilities put him in charge of sound effects, voice-over recordings and final mixing of broadcast and theatrical sound in post production.
