Simon Bookish is the stage name of Leo Chadburn, an experimental musician and classical composer from Coalville, Leicestershire. He trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama from 1997 to 2001.
He has provided remixes of songs for bands and artists such as Grizzly Bear, Franz Ferdinand, The Organ, and Owen Pallett. He has also contributed to the albums of Leafcutter John, Max de Wardener, Patrick Wolf, and Saint Etienne. In 2007 he worked with the Royal National Theatre on a new musical score for The Caucasian Chalk Circle. To date he has released three albums and has been on a number of European solo tours. He has also appeared on a collaborative album to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pink Floyd's The Wall, The Wall Re-built!, by Mojo Magazine.
