Smoove & Turrell are a 'Geordie duo' who create music in the Northern Soul genre. Their real names are Jonathan Watson and John Turrell. They have produced two albums: Antique Soul (Jalapeno Records 2009) and Eccentric Audio in 2011.
The 'duo' have played at many events, including the Pussy Parlure on Saturday 26 June 2010 at the Glastonbury Festival 2010.
The 'live band' includes musicians Mike Porter (keyboards), Tim Mcvicar (bass), Oscar Cassidy (drums) and others.
