Gospel singer/songwriter Tammy Trent was originally inspired by her mother's constant work as a speaker and performer on the Christian scene. By high school, she was playing in pop and rock bands, and Trent signed to Sparrow Records in 1999. Her light R&B flair is sweet and positive. Set You Free, her debut for Sparrow, was released in mid-2000. Six years later, she released I See Beautiful on September Day. Stronger followed in 2008. In addition to her recording career, Trent is also a speaker and author of several books.
