The Dead Betties is a Brooklyn, New York-based rock band, composed of lead singer–bassist Joshua Starr, drummer Derek Pippin, and guitarist Eric Shepherd. The band is best known for their intense, angular songwriting, live sound explorations, explosive performances, and scathing lyrical challenges to mainstream social norms.
