The Master Colony was a Middlesbrough-based band. Signed to independent record label 208 Records, the group released two singles and one album, Time for Change, before disbanding in 2011. All four members of the band went on to become part of other bands, and Joe Smithson and Lewis Mondal were founding members of successful indie band Collectors Club.
