The Upbeats are a drum and bass production duo consisting of Jeremy Glenn and Dylan Jones from Wellington, New Zealand. They have also produced various other genres of music including dubstep (as Crushington) and breaks. They also produce Dubstep under the alias Crushington.

Biography

Jeremy Glenn and Dylan Jones, also known as Terror Snake and Downie Wolf, have been writing drum and bass together since 2001.

Full-time DJs and producers since early 2004, the duo perform on a regular basis across the globe , run their own recording imprint Non Vogue, and have released records on Virus Recordings, Bad Taste Recordings, and Soul Recordings. They have released three full-length albums so far: The Upbeats, Nobody’s Out There, and Big Skeleton.

In 2010, they toured and scheduled some releases, in particular remixes for New Zealand electronica live acts Shapeshifter and Minuit. Other plans for 2010 included new original singles for worldwide release on Virus Recordings and Lifted Music.

Performances

In 2009 they toured along side Dieselboy, Evol Intent, Ewun, Demo, Infiltrata, Mayhem, SPKTRM, MC Messinian, MC Dino and MC Steez as part of the Monsters of Jungle Tour which headlined festivals all over the world.
