Yuval Ron (Hebrew: יובל רון) is an Oscar-winning Israeli Jewish musician. He was also nominated for a Grammy Award. He won the 2007 Academy Award for Short Film for writing the music for West Bank Story. He has an eponymous band, the Yuval Ron Ensemble which plays world music, combining Jewish, Sufi, and Armenian music. Yuval's primary instrument is the oud. His albums include Seeker of Truth, One, and Under the Olive Tree.
