His short fiction has appeared in Swink, Dislocate, the Rake, Hobart, and Pindeldyboz, and has been anthologized in Da Capo’s Best Music Writing 2007. His journalism and essays have appeared in the Village Voice, the New York Times, Spin, City Pages, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Rain Taxi Review of Books, and elsewhere.
