Mike McGonigal is editorial director for YETI publishing and the author of three little music books. He lives in Portland, OR, where he spends his time assembling gospel music compilations for his own label, Social Music, plus others — including Tompkins Square and Mississippi.

His all-time favorite bands are probably ELO, Swan Silvertones, Amon Duul 1, Chrome, Terry Riley, Rising Star Fife + Drum Band, Half Japanese, and Reverend Louis Overstreet with His Sons and Congregation.
