His music writing has appeared, with enormously varying degrees of regularity, in SPIN, Pitchfork, the Village Voice, Paste, and the Chicago Tribune, and received an honorable mention in Da Capo’s Best Music Writing 2007. The New York Times once said he “goes over the top and stays there to very nice effect.” He also covers business news for various Financial Times publications.
