Our top 21 list runs the gamut from self-deprecating memoirs, heavyweight fiction, impassioned treatises and more than a few titles that are sure to give you the giggles. And while we’re all about escapist fun, we couldn’t ignore the books that made us think and feel and care even as they entertained. Enjoy!
