highly recommended

I read this book years ago and continue to recommend it to friends. As the book explains, procrastination is a symptom and, as I recall, it gives excellently practical solutions to working through this symptom. As for dealing with the root, you can investigate why you're not 100% committed to what you're "trying" to do. Great book. I'm downloading it again for a refresher.

Excellent presentation. Sound Insights

MileHighYogi

Procrastination is a major problem for many people, self-included; and Dr. Fiore provides a plain-language, thought provoking and well-researched approach to dealing what amounts to more of a syndrome than a singular problem. We learn about what causes there are for procrastination and then Dr. Fiore provides an number of ways to deal with the problem. I very much respect the fact that he synthesizes what he has learned in his own practice together with leading researchers in the field. In essence, this is a cognitive-behavioural approach with a positive-psychology emphasis. The idea of looking at procrastination as a character trait is replaced with a sound model, along with detailed action steps. This presentation warrants multiple listening experiences and reviews as a behavior that has been built up over a life time warrants careful attention and study. I highly encourage anyone looking for help with procrastination to listen to this audio book.
