Dawkins' passion for his subject and hero is clear and exciting for listeners, who, whatever their religious or scientific views, will be intregued and captivated by this involving production of arguably one of the most important books of all time.

Anti What? Ignorant Review.

emjayvee

I totally agree with exurgencySpectacularrr's previous review. there's nothing anti-religious about this book at all this is a groundbreaking scientific observation and has nothing to do with religion whether good or bad. Come on Emusic That is unnecessary. Please listeners don't be put off by emusic's ignorant and misguided comment this is a wonderful and enlightening piece of work no matter what your beliefs.

What an ignorant and offensive "review."

exurgencySpectacularrr

E-music needs to *AMEND* this review. Your use of the phrase "anti-religious" is not only utterly wrong, but deeply offensive -- it is downright *anti-science* in my opinion. And this country already suffers from a virulent strain of hostility towards science -- we don't need the likes of you mindlessly throwing fuel on the fire because it stirs up lucrative controversy to do so. Even in his own lifetime, Charles Darwin was at pains to separate himself and his work from people who wanted to use it as a means of touting atheism or attacking religion. There is nothing whatsoever anti-religious in Darwin's work, and the theory of evolution is in no way incompatible with religion. I AM an atheist myself, yet I think to tar Darwin as "anti-religious" simply because that's how Creationists ridicule him is narrow-minded, unimaginative, offensive -- and above all, shows an abject ignorance of his life, his work, and his scientific import. SHAME ON YOU EMUSIC.
