Th is probly the best of Stephen King's books. As far as the writing , it benefits from Straubs' influence, but keeps the distinctive "accent" that flavors all of Kings books. more fantasy, than horror, you still THINK about this book for a long time after you read it. It stays with you, Ive read the book several times , every couple of years i reread it, and, since its huge, have generally found a new detail with each reading. Getting the audio version puts a new spin on an old favorite . A "musr read", that you will enjoy, even if you do not usually like King.
